American University of Puerto Rico Institute of Homeland Security

The HIS Faculty:

Courses will be taught by a selected group of experts on the matters leaded by Dr. Thomas A. Johnson, advisor of the American University of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Johnson is the Dean of School of Public Safety and Professional Studies and Dean Director, at the New Haven University.

He founded the Center for Cyber Crime and Forensic Computer Investigation and serves as Director of the Forensic Computer Investigation and serves as Director of the Forensic Computer Investigation Graduate Programs. He developed the on-line program in Information Security and Protection.

Dr. Johnson also serves as a member of the FBI Infraguard Program, the Electronic Crime Task Force, N.Y. Field Office and the U.S. Secret Service. The U.S. Attorney General appointed him to the Information Technology Working Group and Chair of Task Force Group in Combating High Technology Crime for the National Institute of Justice.

In addition to publishing two textbooks, Dr. Johnson has developed and holds copyrights of four computer software for justice agencies and thirteen referred articles.
